Mas-wrestling (evening)

This is a type of martial arts originally from Yakutia. The essence of it is that two athletes tug on a wooden stick (mas). Athletes sit in front of each other, prop their feet against the board and, at the judge’s command, each athlete pulls the opponent to his side or knocks the stick out of the opponent’s hands. The key to victory in mas-wrestling is to maintain balance and infuriate the opponent.
