From December 8 to 15, 2026, the Vienna Strauss Philharmonie Orchestra will perform in Kazakhstan for the second time in its history, returning to Almaty and Astana, and giving its first-ever concerts in Karaganda and Shymkent.

The orchestra will present a brilliant program featuring works by Mozart, Brahms, Haydn, Offenbach, Rossini, and, of course, the Strauss dynasty.

The orchestra was founded in Vienna in 2014 by graduates of Austria’s leading music academies.

For this tour, a special jury selected 27 musicians from around the world, including artists from Austria, Hungary, Japan, Ukraine, Germany, Romania, Taiwan, Croatia, and Cyprus.

The ensemble is dedicated to preserving and developing Vienna’s rich musical heritage and promoting it throughout Europe and around the world.

The orchestra is conducted by András Deák, a talented and charismatic musician with a long and successful international career.

Maestro András Deák has performed with leading orchestras in many renowned concert halls worldwide, including:

• Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary (Canada) with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra;
• The Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra;
• The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra;
• Chicago, with the orchestra of the world-famous Lyric Opera of Chicago.

In 2006, András László Deák was invited to the Vienna Musikverein as conductor of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra. Since then, he has remained a regular guest conductor of this distinguished ensemble.
